The team of husband-wife board certified pediatricians completed their post-graduation in pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), in 2002 and 2004, respectively. They have been practicing pediatrics for over 10 years. They first opened their office in Colonia, New Jersey; and then expanded to two more locations in Edison and Perth Amboy. Drs. Patel and Chaudhary are dedicated to providing excellent care to their large and very diverse patient population. They expanded their offices to Edison, Perth Amboy, Metuchen and Avenel. They are proud parents to three wonderful children. In their free time, they enjoy various outdoor activities with their family.
Dr. Rosenblum has been practicing pediatrics in the Edison/Metuchen area since 1981. After graduating from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed a residency in Pediatrics at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center in New York, and a fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He is board certified in both, although he now limits his practice to general pediatrics. He is the proud father of three children, one of whom is a pediatrician, and of eight grandchildren. Drs. Rosenblum, Lebovic and Santiago have practiced together for over 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, and puttering in small carpentry, electrical and plumbing repair projects at home and in the Metuchen office.
Dr. Santiago did her postgraduate internship and residency at Newark Beth Israel hospital, board certified since 1982. She has been in private practice for past 30 yrs at Pediatrics Associates, Metuchen. NJ which is now a part of Colonia Pediatrics.
Dr. Lebovic has been in practice in the Metuchen/ Edison area since 1986. He is on the staff of Raritan Bay - Perth Amboy and JFK hospital.
Dr. Sonavane completed her pediatric residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her medical training at LokmanyaTilak Medical School and a postgraduate degree in child health from Sir. J.J. Hospital and Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. Dr. Sonavane is dedicated to providing high standards of care and loves to interact and care for her patients. She is a certified volunteer at NJ Sharing Network, which focuses on organ transplant.Dr. Sonavane resides in New Jersey with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys baking and writing.
Dr.Leena Benoy is a board certified pediatrician who joined Colonia Pediatrics in 2011. She graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad,India and completed Pediatric residency from Metropolitan Hospital at New York Medical Center. In addition to English, she is also fluent in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. Dr Benoy resides in Morris County with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Dr Dubbaka-Rajaram is a board certified pediatrician, with ten years of experience. She graduated from Kakatiya Medical College (India) and completed her pediatric residency from Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Her interest in public health led her to pursue a Masters in Public Health from State University New York at Albany. Dr. Dubbaka-Rajaram is an active member ofthe American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), AAP NJ Chapter, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), VMPA. Her hobbies include yoga and mantra meditation.
Dr. N.M. Patel is a very experienced pediatrician who has worked for over forty years in private practice in New Jersey. He began his residency in Pediatrics at Washington D.C.'s General Hospital and continued his training at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City, completing his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J. He started private practice in Edison and Perth Amboy, N.J. and has been working there ever since. He has a long-time affiliation with J.F.K. Hospital as well as Raritan Bay Hospital. His patients enjoy a high five from Dr. Patel and his endearing smile. Parents appreciate his knowledge and attention to the care of his patients. In his free time, Dr.Patel enjoys playing tennis and gardening.
She graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India and completed her post-graduation in pediatrics at Newark Beth-Israel Medical Center in Newark. She ran her own private practice, Woodbridge Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, in Colonia, NJ, for more than thirty years, where she frequently saw up to three generations of the same family. She’s a proud team member at Colonia Pediatrics in Avenel, NJ, where she sees patients from newborn to 21 years of age.
Dr. Nimma completed her post graduation from UMDNJ and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Her expertise lies in providing compassionate and nurturing care to children of all ages. She speaks Hindi, Telugu and Spanish. She is also a Yoga Instructor with special interest in meditation.
